Frequently asked questions

Are package deals available?

Yes we have many different packages available, basically the more services you take from us the greater the saving!

Are your staff experienced?

Our staff all have at least 2 years experience and have been hand picked for their skills and attitude. We then do continuously train to ensure we're the best in the industry!

What do your staff wear?

Our staff wear a black shirt, trousers and shoes as standard though you can dress them in different uniforms as long as it is practical for them to work in.

How do we pay for staff?

You can pay by bank transfer, cheque, cash or credit card. However there is a 3% fee on cards. If you have an account then your payment is in 14 day payment terms. Otherwise full payment will be due before your event.

Do you charge over time on Sundays or after midnight?

No our hourly rate will remain the same regardless.

Do we have to book staff for a minimum period?

Yes we have a 4 hour minimum booking period for all staff.

Do we have to book the staff taxis?

Only if they finish after 11.30pm, which you can either arrange yourself on the night or pay a £15 flat fee per staff member in advance within zone 3.

Do we have to give the staff food and drinks?

Staff must have access to water, however food is not compulsory. Though you will find your staff work better on long shifts when given a good meal!

Can I ask my staff to stay longer on the night?

Yes, though this will be at their discresion if you had agreed a pre specified finish time. This extra time will be charged within 14 days of the event by way of final invoice.

Do we have to pay for travel time?

Within zone 3 and between 7am and 11.30pm travel is free. However areas outside of these areas may incur costs for transport and increased travel time to staff.

Where can I get glassware?

Names of recommended and competitive suppliers will be at the bottom of your bar shopping list, though please just ask if you require any help.

Should we Tip our staff?

This is completely up to you; many of our clients like to do this and it's something we leave between you and your members of staff!

Do I need to give the staff breaks?

Staff require a 20 minute break if they are doing a shift of over 6 hours straight and this must be during that shift not at the end.

What happens if a member of staff can't make the event at the last minute?

We have standby staff ready to send to your event to replace them and if you are a larger event then standby staff will be sent with the other staff automatically to cover any emergencies that may arise at no extra cost!

How many cocktails should we choose?

We recommend having a selection of 5 or fewer as this will keep your costs down and improve the speed of service at the event.

Do you do full bar production?

Yes we can do as much or as little as you like, though this isn't always as competitive as sourcing yourself you will find us competitive!
